Im sick of it. Im sick of the genetic health problems they continue breeding. Im tired of having to take in litters of puppies people left at the front of my salon and bottle feed them. Im tired of going to animal control every week and seeing how many dogs are going to die at the hands of backyard breeding. I sick of people not spayingneutering then having litters and giving them away and they end up in animal testing or dog fighting. WHy is it so hard to just breed responsiblySo I put this question forth.
And to the buyers of these dogs. Was getting the dog a little cheaper worth the risk of thousand of dollars of health problems later in life that you probably wont pay to fix anyway Or was it worth the terrible treatment of the parents who are locked up all day never receive vet care and die because of over breeding Do you like poor quality dogs that dont meet breed standards and have shady temperaments Please tell me Well I suppose you all were right. In a perfect world we could make all of the backyard breeder and puppymillers this and hope maybe we could get a change.
The only thing I know we all can agree on is that it has to stop and I applaud you all for your efforts in stopping this unethical practicewow the reason we cant do anything is because of people like you. People who think that treating an animal ethically is obsessing over it. But I think we are doing something and honestly you didnt answer the question so why did you even post a response Are you a bybwow many big things have happened in my life and I am ever so thankful for them. But i stand by my initial statement that it is people like you.
I think the people who responded here arent obsessing over anything but they are standing up for whats right. I also believe if they felt that children were being done wrong they would stand up for them just as strongly. You do not have to dedicate your life to one issue you can stand up everything you believe in. At the end of the day we know weve achieved something if only one mind is changed. You have lost interest in the issue thats fine but please just leave animals alone. If kids are the ONLY place your heart is then quit the shelter and dedicate every living breathing second to them.
